We will meet at Hatta Wadi Hub at the start of our Challenge at 7am where we will begin our briefing and get acquainted with our guides, leaders and bikes. Those that do not have any bikes can hire from Wolfi's Bike Shop, Global Climbing or Cycle Hub with advance notice to ensure bikes are available. Please let us know if you are not able to hire a bike.
We can test try the Hatta Wadi Hub trails in the morning before we cycle 45km (approximately 3.5 hours) on quiet roads past Munay and Owhala.
We then continue on along the corniche towards Fujairah Adventure Centre where we will have set up tents with mats (30km, 1.5-2hrs).

Cycling 45/75km over 6-9 hours depending on optional additional kms for those with the energy!
At Fujairah Adventure Centre we will ride the pump track and start cycling the 45km (approximately 6 hours) to Shawka Dam in the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah (known fondly as RAK).
The route crosses the main road then follows mountain tracks towards Al Farfar. There are two steep, bumpy trails in the early part of the ride, the highest reaching around 460m above sea level.
Stopping for a packed lunch on route we will enjoy great views across the mountains and over many small farms. We work our way down on mainly wide tracks to Esfai and onto our camp near Shawka Dam.

After breakfast at camp we start our 60km cycle on a mainly flat tarmac road for 24km along Sharjah Kalba Road where we detour off at Wadi Al Qor. From there we turn off into the wadi and follow Wadi Al Qor on a dusty and gravelly off road trail towards Huwaylat. We will have a chance to visit Al Qor Dam along the way for some breathtaking scenery. From here we follow mainly quiet roads to the back of Hatta Fort Hotel and make our way home towards Hatta Wadi Hub where we finish our Challenge.
